History & Mission

Bradford Area Christian Academy (BACA) was established in 1983 with the purpose of partnering with families in their God-given responsibility to train the next generation of Christian leaders for a lifetime of service and devotion to their Savior, homes, churches, vocations, and communities.

 

We remain steadfast to upholding the truth of God’s Word and to training students how to view their entire world through the lens of the Bible.  Therefore, both curricular and extra-curricular programs are based on principles set forth in God's Word. 


One of BACA's goals is to see each child accept Christ as personal Savior and to help him/her make a commitment to lead a life that would be pleasing to Him.  As the Bible says: "Train up a child in the way he should go." (Proverbs 22:6)

NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY AS TO EMPLOYEES: Employment at Bradford Area Christian Academy is open to qualified individuals who are Christians of good character.  Bradford Area Christian Academy does not discriminate in employment, or in the terms or conditions of employment, on the basis of race, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, age, or disability.  Bradford Area Christian Academy is a religious educational ministry, and as such, utilizes religion as an employment criteria.  All prospective and current employees must agree with Bradford Area Christian Academy’s mission statement, and they must be willing to conduct their lives in conformity with the school’s statement of faith and the school’s declaration and agreement to ethical and moral integrity, serving as a Christian role model.

NOTICE OF NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY AS TO STUDENTS: Enrollment at Bradford Area Christian Academy is open to qualified students and/or families of Christians faith and character.  Such students are admitted with all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  Bradford Area Christian Academy does not discriminate in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.  Bradford Area Christian Academy is a religious educational ministry, and as such, utilizes religion as an enrollment criteria.  All prospective and current students/families must agree with Bradford Area Christian Academy’s mission statement, must be willing to adhere to all standards and policies as set forth in the Student Handbook, and must be willing to conduct their lives in conformity with the school’s statement of faith.
